Twenty Four.

Hey guys, how are you all doing?

I've not been on here much - I gave myself a week off to enjoy my birthday, but one week turned into two and then two weeks turned into three, and now here we are.

But as I did last year, I wanted to dedicate a post to my birthday :)

I spent the day itself in London with my Mum (which if you read this post, you will know that it is amazing and a gift in itself). When we arrived we headed straight to Covent Garden, my favourite place to go due to the beautiful stores (Charlotte Tilbury and Kikki K, I cried over you a little tiny bit), and the constant street entertainment - I mean, everybody knows the guy who is a dog in a box, right?

I spent a good amount of time browsing the Kikki K store, picking up a few things. And when I say 'a few', I really mean, 'resisiting extremely hard not to buy the entire shop but concentrate on my bank balance, so just a couple of things will do'.

After freezing our little bums off watching an entertainer escape some chains (which I only assume he succeeded in by the cheers as we were walking away), we headed off to find some lunch, and quickly got drawn into a little café called Scott's by the two magic words 'doorstop sandwich'. Yum, yum yum. I got a Prawn Salad sandwich with a fresh orange juice, and it was b-e-a-utiful. I was stuffed by the end of it! So. Much. Bread.

Afterwards, we nipped over to Sass and Belle, followed by a short walk to Leicester Square, where I just had to introduce my Mum to m&m world - I knew she'd be as completely and utterly baffled as I still am since my very first visit! Haha.

Then, we went to The Cambridge theatre for my main present - to see the Matilda musical. The whole production was absolutely wonderful, and I found myself singing 'my mummy says I'm a miracle' throughout the entire rest of the day - in fact, it's in my head now! I'd hugely recommend going if you are contempating it :) The children in it are bloody amazing, and I am convinced Miss Honey is a real life Disney Princess!

After a quick zoom down Oxford Street and a stop-off at Lola's cupcake in Kings Cross, it was time for us to head home, and for me to give my little bunny a big birthday squeeze :)
I know it's a little bit late, but I'd like to send a huge thank you to anybody that sent me birthday wishes on or around my birthday - it really does make the day more special when people take the time to wish you well. So, thank you. xxx
